Current opportunities:
Irrigation/Spray Technician
Responsible for irrigation of the container and holding yard and takes the lead on management of the company's pest control program.
Accountabilities:
- Plan, schedule, implement and evaluate pest control measures in consultation with the General Manager
- Plan, monitor and schedule plant watering requirements in coordination with both the Container Manager
- Conduct pest detection and coordinate pest control efforts
- Research possible pest threats and preventative measures
- Enforcement of all government programs
- Record keeping of Integrated Pest Management Program
Qualifications:
- Pesticide Safety Course certificate
- Thorough knowledge of pesticide application and strategies
- Experience in record keeping
- Ability to plan, organize multiple priorities, schedule and meet deadlines
- Thorough knowledge of plants
- Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary
